On newer Android smartphones, the power on/off button was turned into a Side button that can be programmed to perform several functions. A short press turns the phone on and off. A press and hold turns the power off or turns on the Bixby virtual assistant, and a quick double press can launch the camera or open an app of the user's choosing. Contrast with
